Carolyn O'Day-Malfara
Chairman & Chief Business Officer

Carolyn O'Day-Malfara founded Center State Communications in 2004 with Scott Shelley to fill a need in their rural community for a local company to provide technology services.

Carolyn has a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Millersville University and extensive experience in telecommunications management, customer service, digital photography and web design. Her past employers include Verizon, Pitney-Bowes and the Tuscarora Intermediate Unit.

She was nominated by Bucknell University in 2007 and 2009 as one of the Best 50 Women in Business in Pennsylvania and received a commendation by the the U.S. Army Freedom Team in 2009 for outstanding support and patriotism to America's soldiers in our Army community.

Scott Alan Shelley
President & Chief Executive Officer

Scott Alan Shelley is the co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Center State Communications LLC, Thompsontown PA and is also the Director of Operations for Autumn Wave LLC, Carlisle, PA.

Mr. Shelley formerly served as a Support Specialist for Embarq in Carlisle PA, Support Specialist for AccuWeather Inc, State College PA, and Senior Technical Specialist for Tri-County I-NET Inc, Newport PA. Mr. Shelley has an extensive background in executive management, business operations, human resources, computer repair, network management, customer service and web design.

In 1999, he received the State Winner Award for Young Entrepreneurship in Pennsylvania.
