Carolyn has distinguished herself by being nominated twice by Bucknell University as one of the Best 50 Women in Business in Pennsylvania. The award is a part of program of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) and the business journals from across the state, Pennsylvania's Best 50 Women in Business awards program recognizes the state’s most dynamic and inspiring women in business today. It serves to highlight their contributions to business and the community and salutes their ability to overcome obstacles in non-traditional work environments.

Carolyn receives commendation by the the U.S. Army Freedom Team...

In 2009, Carolyn received a commendation by the U.S. Army Freedom Team for outstanding support and patriotism to America's soldiers in our Army community. She spent countless volunteer hours designing a new web site for the Pennsylvania National Guard Military Museum. It provides a permanent and living memorial to the thousands of Pennsylvanians who served and the many that gave their lives in defense of freedom, our state and our nation during the time periods from the Civil War to the present.

Carolyn recognized as one of TechQuest Pennsylvania's Outstanding Technology Innovators...

In 2010, Carolyn Malfara, was recognized as one TechQuest Pennsylvania's Outstanding Technology Innovators when she was nominated for Best Application of Technology for her work with the Pennsylvania National Guard Military Museum web site.

TechQuest Pennsylvania, the state's leading technology development organization, honored eight winners and 16 nominees for outstanding technology innovation in eight categories at the 18th Annual Technology Awards Gala held at the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, Friday, February 12, 2010. A record 126 nominations were recognized in this year's program and over 400 people were in attendance to celebrate with these great technology leaders and companies.
